Guitar Hand TrainerSpace Trainer for guitarists
The Space Trainer guitar learning aid helps beginners to learn the correct hand position for playing chords from their very first lesson and is a valuable practice aid for intermediate guitar players. Space Trainer naturally helps the fingers of the left hand to form the correct shape for playing and stops the 'overgripping' of the neck, a problem that often occurs while learning guitar. It has been proven to significantly increase performance of beginners and is ideal for formal guitar lessons, self-teaching via internet, books or video and private practice.
Invented by guitar teacher Kelvin Pratt, Space Trainer fits most electric and bass guitars, as well as a wide range of acoustic guitars most half size classical guitars and "student" or children's guitars. The simple plastic guide frame is easy to fit and remove from the guitar's neck and is suitable for both children and older guitarists. Space Trainer Simply clips onto the guitar neck at the 1st and 5th fret. The exact position of the trainer is not important and it will not interfere with your guitar strings. Once in place, Space Trainer simply forces the beginner's hand into a more upright position, making those first primary chords sound like proper chords and giving great encouragement to the new guitar player, especially in the early stages of learning. Space Trainer is easily removed and re-positioned without damage to the guitar and once the hand develops "muscle memory" of the correct position the trainer is no longer needed. ![]() ![]() Technical Specification Note: fit can be adjusted for unusually-sized guitar necks - see FAQs
